About the role:

Experienced and motivated Cleaners are encouraged to join our team with two vacancies available

• 1x Monday to Friday 8am-4pm permanent full time vacancy
• 1x Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday 8am-4pm permanent part time vacancy
• Ensure that all areas of the Independ Living complex, including cafe area, lobby, restrooms and hallways are kept, clean, hygienic and presentable
• Contribute to a comfortable, welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors.
• Cleaning in line with all chemical and infection control requirements and accreditation standards
• Ensuring resident privacy and dignity is always maintained
• Identify and report maintenance issues for our residents, ensuring they are escalated in a timely manner.

About you:

You are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our residents/clients, you also

• Available and ready to work the above listed vacancies
• Demonstrate a high level of kindness and respect for residents’ property and privacy
• Have previous experience cleaning in a large organisation or commercial environment (preferred but not essential)
• Have sound knowledge of OH&S procedures, relevant chemicals and safe work practices (preferred but not essential)
• An understanding of infection control procedures
• Work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision as required and as part of a team

• Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions

Essentials for working in Aged Care:

• A current Working With Children Check card
• Current and ongoing flu and COVID-19 Vaccinations
• Australian working rights
• Ability to pass a national police clearance and/or NDIS Clearance as requested
